Since 2003, Dr. Teng has engaged in clinical medicine and healthcare treatment for more than twelve years, who is proficient in Mandarin, English and Malay languages. During three years of master researching career, it was fortunately under tutelage of famous Professor Dr. Zhi Lan Ying, Guangxi University of Chinese Medicine. Under clinical guidance of mentor Professor Dr. Zhi, he has enriched his clinical application of various featured factions of acupuncture therapy methods.
Currently, Dr. Teng is focusing on research acupuncture treatment methods in which created a new acupuncture therapy method called “ Myofascial Acupuncture” or simply named “Myo- Acupuncture ”. Myo- Acupuncture is used to treat for intractable pain or arthralgia with immediate clinical efficacies as effect as rafter drum. Myo- Acupuncture is different to traditional acupuncture therapy whereby it has immediate clinical efficacies, less pain, short treatment courses and no needling on acupoints.
He has been practising ophthalmology from Professor Dr. Wee Qi Ping who is the fourth-generation successor of “Wee’s ophthalmology” family (present serving as Chief Ophthalmology Physician of Eastern Hospital at Beijing University of Chinese Medicine) and Professor Dr. Yang Guang who also served as the Chief Ophthalmology Physician of First Affiliated Hospital of Tianjin University of Chinese Medicine. By applying of both professors’ eye acupuncture techniques, treatment for myopia and visual floaters has made significantly clinical effects. Especially for those students or youths who have deterioration of myopia, this unique acupuncture therapy has performed excellent significant effects.
